JL Insurance Solutions Ltd is delighted to announce that colleagues across the group raised a record £395,000 for charitable causes during 2024, surpassing the previous year's total of £280,000. The fundraising effort, which involved all of the group's UK offices, reflects the company's deep commitment to supporting the communities in which it operates.
A significant portion of the 2024 total, over £120,000, was donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation, a UK charity that funds projects and services to support those affected by breast cancer. The group's partnership with the Pink Ribbon Foundation began in 2023 and has since become the centrepiece of its corporate social responsibility programme.
Fundraising activities throughout the year included a company-wide sponsored walk across the Brecon Beacons, a charity golf day, bake sales across all UK offices, and a Christmas raffle with prizes donated by colleagues and local businesses. The group also operated a payroll giving scheme, enabling colleagues to donate directly from their monthly salary, and offered matched funding for individual fundraising efforts up to £500 per person.
Director Jessica Llewelyn said: "I am incredibly proud of what our people have achieved this year. Raising nearly £400,000 for causes close to our hearts is remarkable, and it speaks volumes about the culture we have built at JL Insurance Solutions. Our colleagues do not just work here. They genuinely care about making a positive difference."
Beyond financial contributions, colleagues across the group volunteered over 2,000 hours to community projects during 2024, including mentoring programmes for young people, environmental clean-up initiatives, and pro bono insurance education sessions at local schools and community centres.
The group has pledged to exceed £400,000 in charitable donations in 2025 and is currently evaluating additional charity partnerships to broaden the reach and impact of its giving programme. Colleagues will vote on the group's next charity partner at the annual company conference in March 2025.
