JL Insurance Solutions Ltd was founded in 2020 with a clear mission: to make insurance simpler, more transparent, and more accessible for everyday UK drivers. What started as a small insurtech team in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire has grown into one of the UK's fastest-growing insurance groups.
Our Journey
Founded
JL Insurance Solutions Ltd is incorporated in Wales. A team of fintech and insurance specialists begin building the group's first digital insurance distribution platform from Ammanford, Carmarthenshire.
FCA Authorisation
The group receives full FCA authorisation as an insurance intermediary. The first consumer-facing quoting platform launches in Q3 2021.
Series A & Expansion
JL Insurance Solutions raises £4.2m in a Series A round. The team grows to 40 colleagues and a second office opens in London.
Platform Rebrand & Scale
The consumer platform scales to over 200,000 active policyholders. The group is recognised in the Insurance Times "Top 50 Insurtechs" list.
Limitless Cover Merger
JL Insurance Solutions Ltd completes a strategic merger with Limitless Cover. Limitless Cover becomes the group's flagship consumer brand, now serving over 4.5 million active policies.
Group Milestones
The group reaches £220m in gross written premium and 4,907 colleagues. JL Insurance Solutions is named one of the UK's Top 100 Insurance Companies by Insurance Post.
