Modern Slavery Act Statement

Financial year ending 31 December 2025

1. Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that JL Insurance Solutions Ltd has taken, and continues to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chain. This statement relates to the financial year ending 31 December 2025.

2. Our Business

JL Insurance Solutions Ltd is an FCA-authorised insurance intermediary registered in Wales (Company No. 12528443, FRN: 981301). We operate as the parent company of the JL Insurance Solutions group, which includes our consumer brand Limitless Cover. Our registered address is 12 Highfield Road, Twyn, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire, Wales, SA18 1JL.

3. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain primarily consists of insurance underwriters, reinsurers, technology service providers, professional services firms, and office facilities providers. As a financial services business, our supply chain is predominantly UK-based and operates within a highly regulated environment.

4. Our Policies

We have the following policies in place that contribute to ensuring modern slavery does not occur in our business or supply chain:

  • Anti-slavery and human trafficking policy
  • Whistleblowing policy, enabling colleagues to report concerns confidentially
  • Code of conduct, setting out expected standards of behaviour
  • Recruitment policy, including right-to-work checks and fair employment practices
  • Supplier code of conduct, requiring suppliers to comply with all applicable laws including the Modern Slavery Act 2015

5. Due Diligence

We carry out due diligence on our supply chain by:

  • Assessing modern slavery risks when engaging new suppliers
  • Including anti-slavery clauses in contracts with suppliers and partners
  • Reviewing existing supplier relationships on a periodic basis
  • Requiring key suppliers to confirm their own compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015

6. Risk Assessment

We consider the risk of modern slavery occurring within our direct operations to be low, given the nature of our business as a regulated financial services firm operating primarily in the UK. However, we recognise that no supply chain is entirely risk-free and we remain vigilant. We assess risk based on the country of operation, sector, and nature of the goods or services provided.

7. Training

We provide awareness training to relevant colleagues to ensure they understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and know how to identify and report concerns. Senior management and procurement staff receive enhanced training on supply chain due diligence.

8. Reporting Concerns

We encourage all colleagues, suppliers, and partners to report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery through our confidential whistleblowing channels. Reports can also be made to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700 or via modernslaveryhelpline.org.

9. Approval

This statement has been approved by the Director of JL Insurance Solutions Ltd and will be reviewed and updated annually.
